Follower Log

Follower Log is a feature which prevents follow spamming.

Depending on the platform, if it is possible, the plugin will save a list of all followers of each livestream, which will be checked each time before handling a Follow event. The list will be updated each time a streamer gets a new follower.

Toggling Follower Log

To enable or disable this feature, find the FOLLOW_SPAM_PROTECTION option in each platform .yml file (twitch.yml, tiktok.yml) and change the value to your liking.

If Follower Log is disabled the list will not be updated or checked anymore, until the feature is enabled again.

Resetting Follower List

To refresh the follower list, please remove the followers file inside plugins/ChatPointsTTV/ and reset the plugin. Once it starts again (if the feature is enabled) a new followers file will be created once the plugin links to a streamer.
